Combination Ear Tag – Pig (NLIS Approved)

The NLIS approved Pig Combination ear tags are designed to handle the toughest conditions. The Breeder tags must be attached to the pig by the breeder before they leave the birth property (Please consult with NLIS regarding regulatory changes). The NLIS Pig Combination tags come complete with the Button Male and are laser marked with the NLIS logo, the letter “P” in a circle, and the Property Identification Code (PIC).

Print Layout Options:
NLIS tag markings is fixed set of details, which include:

• The Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) Logo
• All NLIS accredited tags must include the NLIS logo, a letter “P” inside a circle and PIC #
• PIC numbers can be obtained via PIG PASS -OR- an existing PIC can be used for the farmers who are already registered within their state /territory
• No additional marking allowed

Colours Available:

• Yellow (Breeder) – use for livestock bred/born on your property/PIC# and tag must be tagged in the pig’s left ear
• Orange (Post Breeder) – use for livestock you have purchased or not bred/born on your property/PIC# and must be tagged in the pig’s right ear
